Organizing a Neighborhood Watch

Is your neighborhood protected?

With the support of the Mount Laurel Township Police, Mount Laurel communities have organized Neighborhood Watch Organizations. Is your neighborhood among them?

The areas with active neighborhood watch groups are as follows:

Birchfield Brettonwood CountrysideDelancey Commons
DevonshireEthel Lawrence HomesHoliday Village Innisfree
Holiday Village East Ivy RidgeThe Lakes Larchmont Village III
Laurel Creek Laurel PondsLaurelwood Laurel Place
Mill Run Park Place Parker's CreekPheasant Mere

The residents in these areas have taken the initiative to participate in the "Neighborhood Watch" program. Neighborhood Watch members provide additional eyes and ears to our police department to prevent or report crime. Statistics show that strong neighborhood watch communities have lower crime rates. Join your neighborhood watch today.

Is there no neighborhood watch in your area?

All that is necessary to start one is a group of interested residents in a development, on a street or block. Contact the Mount Laurel Township Police Department, Community Policing Bureau at (856) 234-1414 Extension 532.

Orientation meetings are held throughout the year. See the schedule below. All meetings are held in the meeting room/court room at the Mount Laurel Municipal Center at 7PM.

You don't have to leave your home to participate, all you have to do is contact the police when you see or hear anything suspicious. If you are interested contact the Community Policing Bureau at (856) 234-1414 Extension 532. You may also email the Community Policing Coordinator.
